hello
i was wondering if there are any art students or professional artists
i am one of them and i guess there are lots of persons with problems with mental health at my uni, but im the only one who were in hospitals caused by mental illness. it would be great if there were any of art students to talk with on this forum

Hey, @jaskier! I study Design and Advertising (two colleges). Sometimes I do some graphic design freelances and I have worked with animation as well. Which course do you study?
i am or was studying art of media (its a rough translation, cause im not in english-speaking country) with specialization classic medias. i used ‘was studying’ because this week im quitting my studies and i will be trying pass exams for graphics. i am quite scared, because on exams i will be painting still life and my painting isnt on really good level haha
was it hard to get in your studies?

It was a bit hard. I had to study a lot to be in a public university.
It requires a lot of effort to learn drawing. You need to train a lot. Is this an exam of your college or is this an exam to get into college?
I’m a piano student. Music is art.

i know that i have to practice a lot - im in art college for 3 years right now. the exams are for getting in another college because i feel bad on my studies and i have no motivation at all. i mean, the classes are great and professors are really really kind for me, but i think i need a change to get better with myself.
btw, of course music is art! its really wonderful art and i wish i could have enough devotion to learn how to play any instrument, but im into other part of art

As a student of Design, I don’t draw everyday, but I need to know some basic stuff of drawing. My studies are a mix of drawing, photography, sculpting, typography and textuality. I want to work as Art Director in the future.
