I can draw an ‘ok’ eye. So i decided to get into acrylics. Humbling.

Yeah i may need to go back to drawing to learn some basic principles with shading and perspective. Painting is fun though.
Not bad in general. Working on painting a skeleton head.

Still life. Faces. From photos not in real life. Idk really. Lol.
I would love to get painting classes. I’m so bad I tried today and got very frustrated with it.

Faces are hard, right on. for me its the nose i can never get right.

A few weeks ago i finally ventured outside drawing only eyes. I have been drawing characters (rpg video game type stuff) and people. I lack creativity so i cant do anything abstract, i pretty much always need a picture to copy.

I like acrylic painting but haven’t done anything for a few months. I paint landscapes and surrealism

Just keep doing it and learning what the paint does. Free yourself to enjoy the medium without judgement. You’ll get better and find your own style too.

With practice and patience. I’m still learning how to do portrait but landscape and abstract I do pretty good.
