Are your parents low functioning Bipolar and narcissistic?
My mother is kind of weird, like she has unexplained moments of rage, so maybe she has undiagnosed bipolar. They are both rather narcissistic in my opinion, they are very set in their ways and shortsighted. I don’t really like to talk about them, they can’t really be helped.

My mother had no mental issues. My father developed bipolar after she died, and went on to kill himself. I’d say at the end he was low-functioning. He had ECT and was on 10 meds when he committed suicide.
No. My mom is very warm, silly and loving. My dad can be somewhat childish and self-centered, and has a nasty and unpredictable temper, but he tries to be a good person.
