Are you talented in art?

Do you have any talent in art like drawing. My twin brother is schizophrenic and my sister had psychosis and we are all very talented in art, especially in drawing. My sister even used to play violin when she was young. So I thought that maybe everybody who has a mental illness is talented in art, in creativity. Maybe I’m wrong…

I used to be good at art when I was a kid. I could draw faces really well. I think I’ve gotten rusty.

i have always been a great doodler and gotten straight as in art classes. i am also good at writing about art. seriously, people see stuff i draw and are amazed, and it takes me no effort. i see no value in it as a career though, my family are all highly educated and studied serious stuff so i was always sort of that weird dude over there. when i got into psychedelic drugs in my late teens my doodling grew more and more bizarre. then i got sz and my family were all like Oh that was what was wrong.

i have always been good at pencil to paper doodling, mostly drawing caricatures or distorted human figures, faces, mostly male. for some reason i am just terrible at drawing female figures, too much subtlety, they end up looking like boxy little pornographic men with female genitalia

I tend to pick up on things quickly, so with practice I think I could at least be decent. In high school I started drawing a little and was good enough to get attention, but not great by any means. I picked up instruments quickly, but got bored because I don’t really like music. I made jewellery and was able to sell it and make some money, but got bored with it after a few months. I had a couple award winning poems in college that just sort of came to me, but since I stopped writing I’m no good at it anymore.

TL;DR, I might be artsy but I get bored too easily to stick with anything long enough to really be good.

No art talents here, but I did learn piano by ear and was doing amazing stuff until I moved and got a music teacher who insisted on learning to read sheet music. Then I was just soso and quit

I play keyboards and piano and I know how to write piano music. I’ve made two piano albums and one keyboard album.

Nice! I just finished my album a couple of months ago. Took me three years and lots of long nights staying up until 4 or 5 am but it was all worth it in the end.

I am ok with art. I enjoy drawing a lot because I can start and stop it at any time and it is very relaxing. I am awful at music, though. My timing is off completely and I am bad at being on tune with singing.

That’s still talent. I learned how to play guitar by ear.

People tell me I’m a very talented drawer and musician.

So I suppose ‘yes.’

Many talents here. its overwhelming to hear such diverse talents in art. i am not a great artist of any sort. but i used to do portraits of faces of my friends and lecturers during college days and people used to like itm not sure how i am now. lost the interest due to voices and depression. anyway like to be one of the members of art to discuss about it with fellow members to avoid boredom

im an artist’ i herd that the dophamine coses creativiti in parcinson paitiants

I was pretty good at trumpet in middle and high school. Haven’t played in a while though. Paranoid about it bring too loud and my neighbors hearing everything.

I’m not good at art.

I’m not talented, but I do paint
