The ads increase my paranoia… I have to deal with my negatives and the depression on my own… But i am more scared from the paranoia, so i prefer it like that, yeap.

I used to rely on antidepressants

I dunno what happened because I tried 4 new antidepressants in the hospital and they all made me more psychotic or uncomfortable or moody or something

So now I take no antidepressants

I dont take ads. I was never diagnosed with depression. My diagnosis is sz.

I’ve been on Zoloft and Wellbutrin for depression in the past, I’ve been off them for over 1 year now.

No but i wish i was. Was on Sertraline 200mg for nearly 20 years, and when i got stable with the Sz, they said i didnt have any depressive tendancies so took me off em.

Granted , i aint threatend suicide these past 5 years - but my low mood does get to me sometimes, even using a few psychology “techniques” i wonder whats the point of getting outta bed.

I probably just need a couple of decent mates in real life - that doesnt revolve around a bar.

The ones I’ve tried has made me manic and/or psychotic.
I would love to try a mood stabiliser, though

Same here. I wrote that I’m allergic to most anti-depressants. I have never had success with any of the ones I tried.

I’m useless without one. Problem is most of them make me manic or don’t work at all. Thankfully I kept trying and trying and finally found one that works for me and doesn’t make me manic. Cymbalta. I’m maxed at 120 mg. It also helps with my pain and anxiety a lot. Everything turned around for me when I maxed on this.

Yes, I take agomelatine which works both as an antidepressant(which doesn’t affect my libido) and also has melatonin that helps me sleep :slightly_smiling_face:

I was on fluvoxamine,sertraline then on prozac quitted and went back to it again and it started making me angry for some reason so no ads for now.

I use to be, first one was Paxil, second one was Effexor.

Both had horrible withdrawals where it felt like electric shocks were shooting though my brain and to a lesser extent my body. Very discomforting, but not painful. Lasted for several months. The effexor withdrawal also came with hot flashes and cold sweats.

No longer on AD’s, I’m not depressed anymore.

Used to be, but no longer since 2018. I never felt like they were helping anyway.
