Are you loyal to anything?

I’ve tried being loyal to various people or institutions previously, but they weren’t loyal back :joy:

So I wonder about the whole concept of loyalty.

Is loyalty bogus?

I can tell you that in my book, HP doesn’t stand for Hewlett Packard let me tell you. Or any company for that matter.

When I was in the hospital, a guy I met there said that one of lifes most highest reward is by earning their trust. And I agree with that.

Doesnt mean i have loyalties, but I do find the sentiment admirable

I’ve been disloyal to friends in the past. But thinking back, they were disloyal sometimes to me too.

Unfortunately, I’ve always been intensely loyal to people. Even to people whom I shouldn’t have trusted.

I trust no one.

I’m a person who values loyalty.

I think it’s a show of character and possibly the most telling.

You’re not always going to be the perfect friend and other people won’t either,

But those who I have genuinely connected with and share real moments of heart,

Those people don’t go away.

I’ve had plenty of friends.

And 99% of those have come and gone and I don’t give a ■■■■.

However,

A few select humans,

I feel would not purposefully ever hurt me.

There is a sense of loyalty there that has been tried and unbroken.

People will always be flawed, so you can’t expect blind loyalties,

At the same time, not everyone is a backstabbing piece of ■■■■.

Lot of people are though.

I tried to be loyal but then I became psychotic and chickened out. I failed my own beliefs. It feels as if I don’t have a spine. But I don’t know if it’s because of psychosis why I failed what I believed in? It’s really humiliating though, and I lost respect for myself. I just wish I get a second shot at life. But then I won’t do any stupid things that puts me out there. My sanity would be much more important.

I am loyal to pets I’ve owned and they have always reciprocated. I guess, like @anon67051439 I am loyal to Android and also Samsung. I am a loyal customer if I am treated with respect. I love the one brand of vapes I buy and one store I buy others from. I’m loyal to people too, of course. I’ve been paying for Amazon prime for probably about a decade or so and I’ve never watched a show, does that count as loyal?
