I’m not, My place is always dusty and messy and I don’t wash my hands a lot, I think that is why I don’t get colds or flu’s very often, maybe every 10 years. Think my body is used to taking care of the germs.
I’m allergic to most chemicals in cleaning products so I just use hot water most of the time
I’m a slob. I deal with it by making sure to keep the things I own to a minimum so it looks relatively well organized. Since being on SSI I have bought way too many clothes and a couple too many video games. But those are the only things I typically waste money on. I think I was buying a bunch of clothes cuz I kept hoping if I dressed prettier maybe I could attract a boyfriend but now I have way too many and no boyfriend so I think besides buying some work clothes this summer for my job that I have lined up I’m going to try to stop buying clothes so much. As far as the video games I might still keep buying some for the Wii U before they all become collectors items though. At least the clothes I bought were relatively inexpensive. The bulk of my money goes to my dad or groceries or gas. My dad doesn’t ask for any of it but your not supposed to go over $2000 and sometimes I save too much and come close to going over the limit. He spends it on necessities like housing or groceries or car repair. He isn’t wasteful at all. We tell social security that my dad gives me everything and that I pay nothing to my family so that they give me less but the truth is aside from clothes I spend most of it either on my gas and food and give the rest to my dad. I also waste money eating lunch out as a student cuz I’m a lazy slob and too lazy to make my own lunch.
I wish I could keep my home perfectly clean. It’s nearly impossible because I live with savages (husband and kids ) but I am able to keep my bathroom clean daily as it’s small, and my house is always “guest ready” I suppose. I’d like if they picked up more. I’m definitely the cleaner person in the house.
I have designated one hour a day to clean. the place stays pretty tidy and I don’t have to do it all in one day or something.
the key for me is not getting too much clutter so I don’t buy a lot of stuff.
the worst for me is my room, I have my hamper with dirty clothes and a clean clothes pile in the closet, for some reason I just hate to fold clothes and put them in my drawers so I often just throw them in the closet. out of sight out of mind I guess.
I’ve heard that kids who grow up in very sterile environments are more likely to get sick as they age because their immune systems weren’t forced to work. I’m terrible about housekeeping myself. I do use a lot of hand sanitizer, though. I had two cats, but one died. They probably spread a few germs around my apartment.
My room smells like dirty clothes. I spend most of my time in the living room by the tv on a couch with a coffee table in front of me with my laptop on it. Maybe I should spray febreze on my dirty clothes hamper.
I’m not a clean freak, I’m a disorganized guy who cleans a room maybe once a month. I’m not a hoarder though so there’s not a lot of clutter.
