Are there any good free/cheap brain training sites

I’ve dipped in and out of Cognifit several times , and like their 0-800 method of scoring . However I have little faith in the scores they give. I signed up again a few days ago . This kind of thing makes me very sceptical .

January paid report
visual short term memory 66
non-verbal memory 100
Hand-eye coordination 8
planning 126

April - the initial assessment on signing up .

visual short term memory 142 (115% better)
Non-verbal memory 194 (94% better)
Hand-eye coordination 273 (3413% better)
Planning 285 (226% better)

I quit my paid account several months ago because of the erratic scoring , and only signed up again a few days ago .

April:

3413% wow you’d make for a great drummer :stars:

273 is still in the below average level . A better way of putting it would be there was a x 34.13 improvement on the previous score .

well even if you had a 43% improvement, and established baseline would still be considered valued on any given metric right?

I prefer reading novels to improve my brain function. I don’t believe much in those apps
