I don’t think anyone really knows what is wrong with our brains. It’s all guesses in the dark.
For some people the drugs work better than for other people. The drugs help me, but I still have symptoms. Some people are perfectly okay with drugs though (or at least I’ve heard that before).
All brains are diff some people can hold down jobs and family with mental illness…i can’t get out of bed with mine

I didn’t realize how painful it is to be MI until I became MI myself. I knew people were a tad ‘off’ and their thoughts were whacked out etc. but I didn’t realize how PAINFUL it is. It’s horrible to be MI. It sucks ass. I do wish they would hurry up and find a cure.

I was only diagnosed a year and a half ago. I was depressed and anxious before but not a nutball like I am now. I am chronically delusional and constantly fear another psychotic break. The meds knock me out. It would just be so nice if they found a cure.

And it shows in terrible cognitive functioning.
