If you use weapons in a fight the other can use weapons too, but in my case the fight would be strictly in self defense, while they would be violating my sanctuary.
Is it the noise from neighbours bothering you still?
Something like that. I am content to leave them alone if they are willing to leave me alone. Hopefully it will blow over, but this has been going on a long time.

I have kids playing beneath my window outside but if i close the window it isn’t so bad, it bothers me most when its hot. I thought about moving but theres just no guarantees with neighbours. Hopefully they will move soon because there overcrowded 
No, I’m about as safe as I can be right now. I don’t know what the chances are of this coming to blows. I’m willing to keep the peace if they are.

Just keep in mind things you can do to manage the situation like headphones, going out, closing windows
It might help having a plan in place
