Anyone with restless leg syndrome?

I have this and I’m always shaking my legs at night.

Does anyone experience the same problem?

Yes I move my legs as if I was pacing even in bed.

Have you changed anything to do with your meds? It could be that.

I have restless legs at night, I’ve been trying to spread out my pch meds. I believe it is the PCH meds causing the problems. I also am taking magnesium Wich seems to help.

I have RLS, I take pramipexole for it.

I used to have it. Made me quit my meds. I hated it!! Hope you change your meds.

I’ll start to twitch my legs all over if I’m needing to go out for a walk. Makes Mrs. Squirrel crazy.

I used to have awful akathisia when I was first ever put on 15mg of abilify. it lasted like 1 month and was a total nightmare felt like i was shaking at a fast frequency internally, but not externally.

Yes my olanzapine causes restless legs. I have to take it in morning rather than at night because otherwise I’d be kicking in bed and being unable to relax my legs

I have RLS, but not all the time. I get up and take a PRN.

Yeah I’ve got RLS. I thought everyone living with schizophrenia has RLS. I’m getting used to it.

I get it every now and then; it’s annoying.

Yeah I have it. I have stretch them every night or tire them out with some leg exercise.

If I take benadryl I’ll get extreme restless legs.

Trazadone and Benedryl give it to me. I am ok with one dose, but the next day it gives me zips and zings.

I had this really bad as a kid. I couldn’t sit straight at class. I remenber admiring other good students for being able to remain still, because I thought their legs hurt just as mine did. As a teen it got better. Ironically as schizophrenic adult it almost completely gone.

My problem is somewhat different. I cant sit quiet. This makes me pace about in the room. Some folks tell me this is another form of the restless leg syndrome.

So the solution I came up with about my RLS is to take meds at 10pm. So far it’s working.

I have restless legs. Can’t stay still anywhere. Either I’m moving with my legs constantly or I’m rocking back and forth on my chair.

I had it for a while and now it’s gone. It’s so annoying I sympathize with those who still have it.
