That would probably work. Just make sure it’s not a cheap one.
I bought a basic one at walmart and it worked fine.
I think that’s a good one

Yes, I was using a pill cutter. I bought it from a medical store. I used it to balance or reduce the power or mg of the tablets, medicine. Though I decide my dose of medicine by my sleeping hours per night.
Now I am without medicine or antipsychotic. Living well.
The one I got from my pharmacy was really good.
Brand please?

My support worker cut her finder on my pill cutter first time using it. It was for 2.5mg Diazepam and they only had 5mg in the pharmacy.
Lots of thanks!
Yes. Might take a little practice to divide the pills with decent precision.
Be aware that not all medications are condoned to be cut by the medical community.
For example zyprexa is ok to be cut, but it’s adviced against on lurasidone. Reason might be that some medication isn’t evenly distributed within the pill, or they have a coating that’s supposed to be intact on ingestion.
I use a pill clipper from my local pharmacy to cut one 300 mg Seroquel pill in halves because I take 450 mg seroquel morning and 450 evening.
Yea I usually just break mine by hand then chose either the bigger or the smaller one depending on how I’m feeling…
They’re 10mg so split it might end up being 6 and 4 but doesn’t make a huge difference to me
A word of caution please check if it’s okay to split your pills before you do
Some pills cannot be split.
Like as in it’s dangerous to split them so becareful out there. Don’t wanna lose one of you beautiful people
That’s not necessarily right
All I said is that SOME medications are not supposed to be split due to the nature of the pill. Also, you need a good pill cutter so it cuts the pill right. If it cuts the pill wrong, you can end up with the wrong dosages.
Did you get one ?
Not yet, but I decided to go with the ez pill cutter they have it on my pharmacy fortunately.
Okay that’s great
