I only talk to 2 buddies who I know in real life. I don’t see them anymore though or even make an effort to due to my agoraphobia. Most of the people I talk to are online friends. That’s fine with me. I’m an introvert.

I have an online friend and my husband… I talk to my mom a lot but I don’t see her as a friend as much as I probably should she’s a support and I lean on her a lot it can frustrate both of us at times

15 years ago I was totally alone in life, Only one so-called friend who used to take advantage of me financially and emotionally. Since moving into a group home I have many friends and am never lonely, best thing that ever happened to me.

I have old friends that I dont really see much anymore. And a few internet friends. Not many IRL that I see very often. I have lots of family though.

I used to have a bunch of really close pals for many years. But weve all mostly gone our own ways now. Some are married with kids. Some are drug addicts in and out of gaol. I want to find new people. Gotta get some group hobbie that involves cool people.

Loneliness is the saddest thing when it comes to this illness. I used to have a huge crowd of friends, and now i only got three left, but i guess i can consider myself lucky compared to others with SZ.
And yes I also find it hard to socialize but i have to do it, because i’m quite social.
