i like it =) it works well for me. i’m on the 50mg shot every 2 weeks

I was on Risperdal Consta injections for 13 years and it was hell. The injections hurt very much even though I insisted on receiving them in my hip. But it was good for my MI and I lost a lot of weight.

i do. i drink a lot of caffeine =) like 6 cups of coffee each day more or less.

Did you know there’s a 2 monthly injection risperidone called Uzedy?

You’re right. They were usually always painless in the hip. But infrequently they would hurt.
ah no first time i hear about it. I don’t know if it’s available here in belgium.
It’s hard to find information about it, other than their website, which doesn’t tell you were it’s available.
I’m on Invega Pills and once asked my pdoc about going on the injection, but she said she didn’t prescribe that for therapy compliant people.

Wish I was on pills only. I hate depots. Injections are a violation. My body my choice.

I have an uncle with sz and anosognosia.
He’s on the jab and he would lose his benefits if he doesn’t comply.
Edit: At least that’s what they told him.

He’s in a psychiatric care home. I don’t know much about the legal side of things.
I haven’t seen him in years. We don’t get along that well.

I know how you feel. I can’t stand injections, but I have to do it. I’d rather pills but I’m noncompliant.

I don’t want the shot because I’m worried that they wouldn’t prepare the shot right. It’s not so easy to do it right.

it’s really easy, don’t worry about that.
No need to worry about the injection. They should be well trained for it. 
They used to make me (court ordered) get the Abilify and Haldol shots when i was overdosing on my pills. It took a lot of time for them to trust me again so i could take pills again. I prefer pills cuz then if you need a med change you don’t have to wait for the shot to get out of your system.
