I would like to know how is drug overall for hallucinations and psychosis and also weight gain ?
@anon94176359 was on it
I’m on it and it works great. Pretty tired in the morning though. But when I can reduce my morning dose again, that won’t be such a big problem anymore. Also, I needed Zyprexa in addition to Quetiapine when I was doing worse than I am now.
If you can control the munchies at night, you should be ok on weight.
I forced myself to go to sleep right after taking it, so I wouldn’t eat the house.
Lol, I’m a night owl and I love sugar, so instead of snacking on sweets all night, I’ve started eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches instead of cake or brownies or anything like that. It’s nice because I still have the sweetness, but I’m not packing on the sugar.
i used to take quetiapine. from what i remember it helped me to sleep significantly more
I like quetiapine. Yeah I was really sedated at first but 4-6 weeks later things were better. Has been pretty weight neutral for me
im on quetiapine 800mg…im doin fine…also i havent noticed this drug to be any different for weight gain
But… peanut butter has loads of calories. Pretty sure even more than cake.
It made my hallucinations stronger and made me eat. I hallucinated soooo strongly on this in jail, and after, I’d have these half-asleep cartoons that played in the air.
Now all I get is a voice now and then, I don’t even actively remember that time it was so scary. I’m sure it works for some people though.
Yeah, the sandwiches have more calories but less added sugar. I don’t usually eat anything close to 2,000 calories per day unless it’s some special event like a birthday or holiday or something, but I do consume waaay too much sugar no matter what day it is.
Ugh same. Soooo much sugar.
I’m on quetiapine. Great for sleep, but it gives me dry mouth, making me thirsty as heck.
It can also be a bit sedating.
