strange symptom but Im curious if its a bad reaction to atypicals, Having to move around and can’t think straight, can’t get any relief, have to get up, lay down, feel like mind is going to snap. Or is it a symptom of psychosis?
This is probably a bit embarrassing for me to mention, but I will anyway. When I’m in the midst of psychosis, I experience incontinence. Not a lot, but it happens.
Extreme restlessness can be a side effect of the meds. Definitely bring it up with your doctor.
I can honestly see that. After my attack tonight.
Hey, thanks for not laughing at me.
When I was Unmedicated I put my long sleeve top on to go for a smoke and next minute my arms were locked in as a straight jacket and I couldn’t move em, said oh ■■■■ then I could use them again
yes I second what LED said. There is a med reaction called Akasthesia which can come and it is misery . I have had it. Benadryl and/or Cogentin can help. I would call my doctor immediately if it was me. No need to suffer like this.
Could this be what I’m experiencing? I felt like I was being moved around by a powerful magnet. My head and neck, my legs and arms. Like they had a mind of their own
i had involuntary shaking of my body and head for a few hours on the ground due to my belief in being posessed. that was just the beginning of more delusions.
also tactile hallucinations.
I thought that I was going to have s stroke it hurt so badly in my head. I literally paced around, had to stop and stretch, and then go right back to pacing.
that sounds like it could be akathesia
Oh great, I hope that’s not the first signs of psychosis coming back.
akathesia is a med side effect, you should maybe ask your pdoc about what you could be experiencing
Thanks I will do that this week. It was like being possessed.and in not even on that much medicine.
40 mg of latuda made me s comple fruitcake .
the need to move might be akithesia (sp?) which is a symptom of the pills. the other might be frustration at confusion from not being fully medicated.
how do you know if you are fully medicated?
