Right now I am watching Blake’s 7
I love star wars and I used to read a lot of science fiction. good for you.
I rather like Doctor Who.

I like horror thiller and scifi…!!! but i don’t have a concentration to watch it…!!!
I love Star Wars, Stargate SG1, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Doctor Who and Blake’s 7
Stargate Atlantis is my all-time favorite sci-fi show. I even got married underneath a Pegasus stargate that my brother built. He got all the constellations right and everything!
Um that is awesome! I just got the full series on DVD
Once in a while I watch Star Trek the original series. It’s a great show. If I could concentrate better I’d get through all the episodes quick.
I am getting where I can’t concentrate on a show either
And let’s not forget how amazing Firefly is!
Firefly is on my to watch list
You will not be disappointed.
It’s frustrating because my mind struggles most with taking in climactic scenes. My mind can’t process excitement well and my memory is too poor to really take in the scene. So I’ll be enjoying a show ok and then a big scene happens, and I just feel confused.
My problem is that I can’t keep my attention on it
Luv it too. Been hard to find neat scifi movies in last few years as seems we ran out of ideas, is just cheesy stuff.
I know it is frustrating
More so the literature than the shows. Books like Fahrenheit 451, 1984, anything by Philip K. Dick.
I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey when it first came out in 1968. I was 7 years old. My parents used to take me and my sisters to R rated movies occasionally when we were young. We always thought it was pretty cool because none of our friends parents did that.
R rated films weren’t as bad or explicit in the 1960’s and 1970’s as they are now. Occasionally, but rarely, we saw a breast. Maybe some violence. Most of the sex in movies back then was suggested or implied but rarely shown.
Anyways, I did not understand “2001: A Space Odyssey” at all. I thought it was neat because of the cinematography but it went way over my head. That movie is a classic piece of SciFi movie history though and it was very popular back then.
Now, “Planet of the Apes” I could understand. Now that was a great movie.
Loved the remake of Battlestar Galactica, though I kind of drifted off in the last season. Loved Firefly. SG:A was so much fun.
Really really love Star Wars, though some people argue that it’s fantasy, not sci fi. I’m not sure where the line is drawn
but while I like sci fi, I love fantasy.
Sci-fi and mind benders are my favorite types of movies. I have never gotten into Star Wars. I probably could, if I watched a few, but I don’t know what’s up with Star Wars. I really like Ex Machina a lot, Inception, Shutter Island. I just watched Source Code and that was good. I also liked 400 days. However, I saw Passengers yesterday with my son and it is quite marginal. Great plot, they just didn’t do anything with it. Got off to an interesting start and then stayed sort of ho-hum through the rest of the movie. I also like fantasy movies too, although not as much as sci-fi.
