Anyone know of new meds?

Is anyone aware of any new anti psychotics going through trials atm? Cobenfy and Caplyta are the last two that I’ve heard about.
Happy to hear about other meds that arent anti psychotics but specifically curious about anti psychotic medication.

I’m now on Cobenfy. It’s okay, but it sure doesn’t live up to the hype.

Is that because your symptoms are still present or issues with side effects? Unfortunately it sounds like it’s going to be like any anti psychotic. Just depends on the person taking it.

So how’s your side effect profile looking like? Are you just on cobenfy?

Are you getting it from the states I thought it wasn’t in Canada yet

Evenamide from Newron Pharma is in late trials as add on / adjunctive for treatment resistant sz .
Brilaroxazine needs another phase 3 trial for sz. Reviva pharma is trying to raise money to pursue the last trial needed for approval.

Cobenfy, Wellbutrin, and Levodopa. The med might be actually managing positives better than I am giving it credit for because of the Levodopa, but it is not useful for negatives that I can tell. Only thing I have noticed is a horribly dry mouth and increased issues with balance and dizziness.

Levodopa is damaging for schizophrenia…it is for Parkinson and increases dopamine in the brain, did your doctor tell you why you are taking that?

He told me it is for my Parkison’s, genius.

I was on Caplyta, but only lasted a month because it gave me horrible headaches.

I’m on caplyta now still.
It’s good but I also take quetiapine cause caplyta doesn’t seem to help all of the symptoms
