I’ve decided to work as a courier again for Ubereats. I kind of like it, it’s like getting paid to exercise because I walk, but I only do it on the weekends since I get more orders/better tips.

Sounds like a cool gig. Maybe ill give it a try this summer or something. How does the sign up process work?

Once my food was delivered by a biker but never on foot.

Ive done a gig locally that was essentially the same thing as uber eats. Made about 15-20$ an hour but after a while it got old.

You need ID to sign up as a courier and a data plan to receive orders. It’s easy. I’m not sure where you are located, but living in a big city helps with allowing you to walk with the orders

I do but only because I live right in the downtown core of a huge city, I also walk fast and a use a thermal bag. I try to get my orders to their destination within 10 mins max.

Yeah I’m too scared to do it by bike because of the crazy traffic in my area but I’d make more way more money.

That sounds about right. I plan on doing this every late spring/summer just to sort out get out of the house. I don’t think I could make a career out of it though.
Yes thank-you. I get cabin fever easily so this is a good excuse to get out on foot. I had a friend recommend it to me as he was in a similar situation as me at one point.
