I can get numb and then I can’t feel the drool coming to catch it. Embarrassing.

I can feel the drool squirting out from the ducts in my mouth but I don’t feel it leave my mouth.

I used to have this problem about 19 years ago or so.
I think I was on zyprexa then but not sure.
I gained twenty kg n drooled n slurred when I spoke but was mainly mute.
Felt really slow n retarded too.

I drooled a lot during my sleep on Abilify.
Risperidone doesn’t make me drool.

I’ve heard it called “reconnecting with the child you”. So I’m re-experiencing my infancy only this time it is without my mother angrily wiping the drool off my chin. She was a rough-neck.

I drooled during sleep when I first went on Risperidone. With my current dosage of 2 mg, I don’t drool anymore.

Drooling is funny and a bit weird :slight_smile:

Our nickname for our mom is a “field nurse.”
She’s not delicate in the least bit.

I had a drooling problem very bad when i was on clozapine. Had to put a towel over my pillow. When I went off clozapine and was put on other meds it stopped being so bad. I have a mild problem with it still, but its not to do with my meds, Its my chronically blocked nose. When I sleep my mouth has to be open to breathe and then some drool comes out when i sleep. Its so irritating!

Can’t blame meds, it’s just me. I drool in my sleep (pretty). And when I was young I used to drool sometimes. Like when I was in art school. When I would be concentrating on a drawing, I would often drool. Sometimes it would hit the paper and I’d have to start over.
I spit when I talk sometimes, and every once in awhile a little bubble goes flying from my mouth when I’m talking and floats around. I think the bubbles are funny.

I drool sometimes, but not very often since getting off invega I still drool in my sleep though.

I had drooling on Geodon. It also happens if you do not eat enough I think :thinking:
now I’m fine

I drooled when I was on risperadone the first night I took a sleeping pill.

It’s gets bad for me at night when I’m trying to sleep. I think it’s the Clozapine that causes it.
