Anyone have experience with medication for social anxiety?

I’m on Zyprexa 15 mg and Wellbutrin 150 mg and the voices are mostly gone/faint, but I still have huge social phobia and am paranoid believing people are watching me and making fun of me all the time.

Has anyone got any experience with what medications help or not for this this? Going to therapy but it isn’t really helping me.

Piracetam made me pretty extroverted, maybe try that.

I wouldn’t go over 1 gram a day though. One study tested 3.2 grams with antipsychotics and noticed a reduction in positive and negative schizophrenia symptoms over just an antipsychotic, so that might be a safe amount too (definitely don’t go over that, though.)

Buspar helped my anxiety.
I hope you feel better

I have heard that xanax is frequently used for that but it is just too addictive to consider.

Are you taking any supplements? They may help? Niacin helps me along with others… or lions mane may help but check with your doctor first if there are any drug interactions… Also, have your mental health service got any groups you could go to to integrate you into the community? I too struggle with social anxiety.

im in the same boat

no social anxiety, I take them for panic attacks.

Gabbapentin works for me. It’s for anxiety, and works like a nootropic to I think, at least it does for me.

I too am really intersested in hearing of medication or herbal remedies that can help with social anxiety

my mind is currently devoid of thoughts when it comes to making conversation
