I’ve had to use a puffer (inhaler) since I was 5 years old. Sometimes after I exercise I get really wheezy. I use my inhaler and it stops.
Anyone have asthma?

I don’t have asthma but i have COPD…years of tobacco use. I’m almost at 2 years since my last cigarette! I use a Breztri inhaler every day.
I’m sorry you have COPD. My grandpa had it too because of decades of smoking. He didn’t die because of it though, he had cancer that took his life.
Congrats on 2 years since your last cigarette. You should be very proud of yourself. Its been roughly 3 months since my last smoke.
One of my nieces has just started using an inhaler. She too needs it after exercising. It’s made a huge difference for the better.
I smoked for 30 years and vaped on top of that. The COPD diagnosis was a wake-up call. I have a hard time doing vigorous exercise but I’m lucky that it was diagnosed early…i still have some good lung function left. I also get yearly CAT scans to check for lung cancer.
I had asthma as a kid growing up I hope it doesnt come back because Im a vaper now
I have asthma, but I haven’t used an inhaler for a long time. Maybe for 10 years.
Same here @WhiteRaven …
Just got anoro elipta inhaler for COPD …
Still using tobaco..
Have you tried it?
No, I’ve just been on the Breztri inhaler and albuterol rescue inhaler. They work good for me.
You are playing with fire, sir.
Please be careful.
I have asthma. It started when I was 16; I’m currently 32.
I get attacks all the time. I can’t exercise too intensely without an asthma attack, can’t ride bikes, go hiking, or other similar activities without using my albuterol inhaler before, during and after.
I also take Trelegy Ellipta every night to prevent asthma attacks. I have a nebulizer machine at home, in case of severe attacks. It’s saved me from going to the hospital a few times.
sorry to hear that really
hope you be better
I had real bad asthma as a kid and was hospitalised with it. It left me when I was 19 and haven’t suffered with it since. They say it comes back though.
I don’t have asthma
I have exercise induced asthma. I need to use my albuterol before I exercise and sometimes while I’m exercising.
I have asthma and I have to take my inhaler daily morning and night for maintenance plus if I get any symptoms I could use it to relieve symptoms. My asthma is usually exacerbated by me having the flu. I don’t exercise much, I only go on slow paced walks. When ever I get a cold I have to start nebulizing twice daily as soon as it gets to the 3rd day because at the 4th day I can feel my airway constricting and my chest starts to feel really heavy. When it gets that bad I usually need to go to the hospital for treatment and this usually requires admission and administration of oxygen plus other treatments. It can escalate really quickly so I have to be very cautious.
