Anyone had success with gluten free diet?

Was wondering about this.

seems to help my skin stay clear. but I didn’t experience any benefits for schizophrenia. try it

I read somewhere that they were giving SZ patients high doses of vitamin c and niacin and it worked.

I’m a user of Niacin and swear by it for reducing voices, but others here don’t entirely agree with it.

You completely silenced voices right? And also aren’t your negative effects way less too?

It’s a muffling of voices, would say it has a moderate effectiveness. They are so quiet after an hour of taking Niacin that I can easily ignore them.

That’s good to hear. Do you feel like your symptoms get better everyday?

I don’t eat gluten. It is bad for me. Mentally.
In terms of with depression. I can feel the difference

They’ve plateaued recently. The voices are at a quiet mumble, and sometimes silent an hour after taking Niacin, for an hour or two.

I tried cutting out gluten for a couple weeks but felt so horrible that I started it up again but in smaller amounts. They say that gluten acts like an opiod in the brain so I imagine for some people it’s like coming off heroin. My brother did it and lost a lot of weight and now has great blood work but not sure it’s totally cured his sz symptoms.
