I know Kansas pretty well… The general spread of the towns here and what they are all about… Was looking to see if anyone knew Colorado like that. I plan on moving over there but I’m looking for a rural place with decent access to internet and a grocery store… That’s about it. I’m trying to get as far away from society as I can… I try to do so in my mind but I’m stuck in the cesspool…
I am also still planning on getting this video game development company off the ground and I plan to continue that out there. So I will need to be within at least an hours drive from a place where I can open an office in a place where employees will be satisfied living.
Trying to get my dreams to be more specific and clear, so I need a specific location to start exploring and seeing if I can find a place with the right vibe…
Nah I gotta settle for Colorado… I think living in a rural area and keeping to myself will be enough distance from those kinds of activities… and I rather be in a place where that stuff is legal anyways… it’s close enough to home my parents won’t ■■■■ bricks but also a lot drier than kansas so I won’t be suffocating come summer time…
If you need someone to accompany you to CO when you visit I will fly to Kansas then drive to CO with you. I’m looking for adventure this summer. I talked about it in private threads, that I wouldn’t mind “visiting azley” but going to Colorado would be my first choice to visit…hell of a coincidence you say this now. Lol
ah… man well dude that’s a deal if you flew in on a wednesday I’d have a couple days to spare… I have a job to work 4 days a week but wednesday night through saturday off… if squeezing a trip in a time-frame like that is worth it to you than I’d be down…
I want to check out this place called Longmont it’s 33 miles north of denver and it’s pretty similar to the town I live in only lacking a college but has some big tech companies and industry to it… more of a grown-up place…
It’s the first one that has really resonated during the browsing I’m doing here…
Well my plan would be to not drink as well… You’d be able to crash here if you’d like for a few days… but let’s make sure we get a more formal plan for this going… I’m more into scouting out towns to move too I’ve done most of the touristy stuff out there throughout the years…
Anyways we could probably find a good camp site to make staying out there cheap.
I’ll give you cash for food and letting me stay and stuff if that’s an issue at all…in fact I’d insist …so don’t worry about you not having enough money or something
well that’s a splendid deal for me though but I’ll make sure I ain’t flat broke… I typically have the fridge stocked to one degree or another… also there is a grocery store within walking distance you could always go grab what you want and fix it up here.
Well I got a lexus es300 from 1999… It’s only got 125,000 miles on it and could use a couple things but the engine runs fine just needs the air intake cleaned to restore optimum gas mileage…
and I don’t really have camping equipment but a couple cheap tents wouldn’t be ■■■■ to pick up…
Well man it’d be a great chance to get to know you…
We can figure out the expenses… I’d rather we both have access to funding while we are out there just in case something happens so it doesn’t ended a lopsided mess where one of us is bailing someone out…
other than that it should just be a pretty relaxed drive out there and then through denver… spend the afternoon in this town checking out what businesses they got… and find a close spot to camp to the town… maybe check back the next day. I’m looking to check out the bars and coffee shops and to get a general feel for what the culture is like… It’s looks like a pretty well put together town… Strong middle class type folk… Just a grown up place to live with 100k folks…
Denver is just 40 minute drive away… all the other touristy type places within a few hours away… I’d have pretty decent access to all that colorado had to offer if I moved out there…
