New owner, losing money, staff cuts, etc. I love twitter, I want them to succeed.

Never used it and have enough on my plate. Itā€™s no slight. I grew up with modems and dial up. I already have a big enough footprint in the modern world and donā€™t need no more.

ā€¦If this is all a big conspiracy to decentralize and take down a gargantuan free speech platform (ā€œfree speechā€ as long as itā€™s within Twitter-approved parameters, anyway), then Musk is doing a bang-up job.

I doubt thereā€™s an actual conspiracy afoot. If anything, what weā€™re seeing here is massive ego on full display.

Best suggestion would be to move along and watch this situation implode from afar.

I never used it either. I donā€™t see the point. Strangers sharing their thoughts? With who? Who follows strangers? Like if I tweeted something, nobody would hear it since Iā€™m not famous. Seems to me it would be most useful for following celebrities or news organizations.

Iā€™m on Twitter if Iā€™m not on TikTok.

I use it to follow news and current events. Itā€™s a pretty decent app, I donā€™t know why people are bashing it because of the new policies.

Iā€™m floored no big celebrity has gotten it in my lifetime.

I mean there are a few sure but they are generally obscure or outdated.
