The DSM 5 equivalent
My firsy diagnosis was drug induced psychosis in UK, when i was hospitalized first time in Lithuania i got written on a paranoid SZ. I even quit meds because i thought the first diagnosis was the right one, but it didnt go well…
Quitting meds didn’t go well for me too, they changed my psychosis nos diagnosis to schizophrenia just because I relapsed without meds. Anyways its just a label and I would still be as functional as now. Many sz users on the forum are more functional than psychosis nos diagnosis, it means nothing.
‘Functioning - fluid’ was a term used by someone who replied to a tweet of mine.
I had my first episode in March and I think I’m under psychosis NOS for the time being while I’m on meds. I will probably be moving to schizophrenia if I stop my medication and I relapse
I was originally diagnosed with bipolar and sza before they changed it to sz.
Nowadays it’s back to sza, and borderline because of my mood swings and cutting
