Anyone else love thunderstorms?

God i love them. It calms me down

Yeah it means it’s summer…I’m a summer person! Those afternoon storms roll in and cool things down and it’s golden.

I’m just north of Brisbane Australia…so they come in from the interior and it’s gold!

I’m getting the idea it’s all in the onstar, working or not, microphone or not, it takes a licking, and keeps on ticking.

I love them except when they threaten to do great damage to where I live. I once was interested in seeing a tornado once but when a big one got too close for comfort one night I changed my mind.

I love thunderstorms! Unfortunately, we almost never get them around here. The few times I’ve heard thunder it’ll just be one or two claps and that’s it.

Do they get pretty intense where you’re from?

I love being outside during a thunderstorm. I get a boost of energy whenever they happen.

Yes. I find them very relaxing.

Fortunately not. Upcountry though they are severe - I was there in summer twice when they raged on. Cape Town has thunderstorms only rarely. About three to five a year. Great news for me!

I loveee them!

I love them! As kids, my siblings and I would sit out on the wood shed and watch them roll in. They really invigorate me.

As long as they don’t bring any tornados I’m okay with them.

We have been getting a couple a year now, instead of that rare occasion.

The last one was in June, so I went out front on my porch and recorded a bit.

My brother and I used to go outside across the street in the open field ,lay down on the ground, and watch the display come across the mountaintop.

Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana had some of the best lightning storms, and those
nice wrap around porches with rocking chairs to sit in.
…oh, and fireflies too.
