Anyone else like ASMR?

I saw there was a thread on relaxation and one for sleep (Trazadone). One thing I really like to relax me and help me fall asleep is ASMR.

If you don’t know what it is, here is an example:

In a nutshell, these people’s voices give me tingles. I don’t know how else to describe it.

I know, it’s totally weird, but it always works for me. I also like Heather Feather, Gentle Whisperer, and MassageASMR (man).

I’m just curious if anyone else likes ASMR.

I do! I don’t know how to explain it either, it’s so odd. But they make my scalp ripple. I’ve had those sensations since I was really little.

I don’t like it. I hear whispers without help from youtube.

i get real life asmr. since i was a kid.

Watching someone draw something for me, or write something down for me.
Watching people focusing intently on something . example - people at the oil change place wiping the windows on my car.
Getting my haircut etc
its strange.

I also get it from music. feels like my brain tingles from head down my back. thats usually a telling sign that mania is nearby… in my case anyway

Same here, braiding my hair, painting my nails, reading something I’ve written, looking at something I own. It always happened when someone was paying close attention to me or something of mine.

Listening to a doctor or a psychiatrist go on about psychobabble can give me asmr if I am not intent on the meaning of his/her words

Look at dodie Clark on YouTube she does really good ones
