Am a big pixies fan. Have had an opportunity to see them live in their current form but not so good at big gigs now.
Before I got ill I saw Frank black live about six times. I have seen him more than any other artist. He is great.

I love the Pixies. I used to own a cd by them. I hear a lot of modern indie bands borrowing from old bands like that.

Apparently Kurt cobain was trying to play ‘Debaser’ by the pixies when he accidentally got the chords wrong and ended up writing ‘smells like teen spirit’

Ever heard of Husker Du? They’re a really old punk band. They’re kind of in that similar type of music. They’re really good though.

Doolittle is one of my fav albums. I love that really raw, explosive sound.

Yes, I like Sugar as well. I think I have one of their songs on my computer. ‘I’ll be your everything’ or something to that effect.

The 90’s was like a gold mine of music. I even liked a lot of the punk bands that were getting popular recognition around that time. The Offspring is the first one that comes to mind.

He most certainly was! He was the lead singer. Orange Juice is really happy making music. It always cheers me up.

Hey @Pamito - have listened to some orange juice. They are great! Plus they come from really near where I live.
