The description of the show is David Haller is a troubled young man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child. He has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years and, now in his early 30s, finds himself institutionalized again. His daily routine – including therapy, taking medications and silently listening to talkative friend Lenny – is upended when troubled new patient Syd arrives, and they are inexplicably drawn to each other. After a startling encounter between the two, David confronts the possibility that the voices he hears and visions he sees may be real. He escapes from the hospital and seeks refuge with sister Amy, who wants to protect the picture-perfect suburban life she has established for herself. Syd eventually gets David involved with therapist Melanie Bird and her team of specialists, who open his eyes to a new world of possibilities.
I read about that show or saw previews. What network is it on?
I’ve seen previews.
Looks pretty wild (cool).
Which station is it on @sigarino?
I also want to know
It’s on FX @metime
Also Amazon Prime
Looks like a show anyone who likes X-Men would like. Maybe I’ll check it out!
Yeah I’m going to watch it tonight
Just finished watching the first episode and it was very Bizarre and triggering.
I’m not going to watch episode 2
Yeah, I watched some too and it triggered me as well.
Anyone seen the whisperers. It looks pretty good.
I’ve seen previews and it looks interesting, but I worry that it’s triggering. ?
what was triggering about it. i don’t want to watch it till i know whats up with it.
Just the way they depict someone suffering with Schizophrenia.
The Hallucinations and Delusions scenes are very Trippy and Graphic.
The show made me a bit paranoid that’s all.
You may not find it triggering.
I wanted to watch it today but it seems like the sz diagnosis is only a start of the story - the main character later develops into one of the heroes from Marvel comics…goes into sci-fi and ■■■■…I don’t like that genre at all.
Ok I had to watch it because of the premise.
It’s full of archaic stereotypes. But there in lies its charm.
It has flashes of brilliance.
