It’s an older technology. Tonight I’m listening to a Canadian broadcast news program on American national public radio. It is very relaxing to listen. Listening is an art you can never get too good at. I also listen to a jazz station. I ordered a portable record player and I’m excited to get some vinyl albums. I am discovering music I never knew, jazz and blues, the inspiration for rock and roll.
Yeah. I long ago got rid of the tv in my room. It’s strictly radio and I listen a lot during day if in car etc. I listen to a great local alternative radio station. I subscribe every year so it’s like $35 or so but gets me discounts at record stores…I love the radio. I also listen to sports on the radio…
As too vinyl. I am totally digital these days with books and music but the family got me a bluetooth turntable for my 50th so I’m back collecting vinyl again. It’s a lot of fun. My last revisit was Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Cut my teeth on that back in the early 80’s so it’s good to go back and listen and vinyl is still a cool experience.
Terrestrial radio (AM/FM), no. Not any longer. Net radio, yes. A lot.
I like podcasts
My daughter listens to a local ish classical radio station, but she gets in it digitally on her phone because we’re about twenty miles too far away. She refuses to go to sleep without that dudes voice telling her to sponsor a CD or whatever.
I used to love the Art Bell show. My mom would listen too and we’d have talks about it.
Yes, I still listen to broadcast radio. I tend to listen to the radio more than watch TV. That’s because when I’m off meds I think they are talking about me on the TV where they don’t do that on the radio.
Oh yeah, I’m a total radio junky. I listen to my local oldies station every day at night. Sometimes I mix it up and listen to talk radio or the classical station. We have an amazing classical station.
Recently I’ve gotten back into collecting CD’s and it’s very exciting.
Right now I’m listening to a Beach Boys Best of CD.
I listen to the radio in the car. Im driving less though since gas went up and I can sit still on clozapine.
i listen to the radio. i have a digital transistor for the deck and i also listen to stations on alexa. its internet but it is real radio stations. npr, independant radio, college and community radio. yes i like it.
I listen to the radio. And sometimes NPR, and I like it too
I listen to the radio only from my car
I only hear the radio if I’m in a taxi sometimes.
Sometimes when driving. If I want to listen to music though when home, I usually just use YouTube.
I guess I’m old and set in my ways listening to broadcast radio with an antenna.
AM640 coast to coast! I loved that rafio station. Art bell was the best
Well i guess its not a station but the broadcast used to be in canada on certian stations. Now its banned apparently or something. I might sign up to the coast insider.
