Do you listen to Radio?

I’ve noticed, radio makes you feel less lonely sometimes. Though it can be distracting because the overly cheery commentary or chatty commentary can be a bit of an ear sore.

I pretty much keep my radios on 24/7 unless if I’m watching a movie on my computer. They really do help with loneliness. I find the background noise comforting.

Yeah, I can relate - comforting is the right word for me too.

It always reminds me of older tutors I had during school years. They’d sit in the their studies with their radios on - never really knew why, but I’m starting to understand it lol :relieved:

Some people in my building leave their TVs on overnight for the background noise but I find that a little too much because of the visuals. It helps some people though.

Yeah, I also find it that way too. I used to be able to do that. Leave the laptop open/on but now, like you, I find it too much :frowning:

Yeah, I have it on in the background a lot of the time, not all day though, maybe a few hours a day. I always listen to the radio while I’m driving

I listen to Pandora subscription radio commercial free totally. It has all the songs I grew up with and all the new songs. It has radio stations. And I can download songs and then put them on repeat and some days I listen to one song for the whole day just repeating itself even.I listen to Pandora radio about 8 to 10 hours a day. I can listen to it on my phone and put my phone in my pocket and walk around listening to it.

I listen mostly to NPR and a station that plays 70s and 80s music. I turn my radio on for background noise cuz it uses less electricity than the TV.

I listen to music very often. Atleast several hours in a day.
But not to radio music.
I am moody person and I love to choose a song I want at that moment!
Spotify for life. I have a spotify premium,
Which is cheap because I am student.

Not often lately. I listen to vinyls a lot, but in between I like it quiet, so then I tinker in here among other things.

I prefer am radio tbh. There’s a comedy channel here. It’s the best one. Music omg it’s the worst on the radio. They try to satisfy everyone but satisfy noone.

I get Alexa to play songs for me . I haven’t listened to the radio for a long time. My daughter’s borrowed my DAB radio.

I listen to classic fm on radio on my iPad
I will leave it on and wake up to it in the morning. I used to like talk back radio
