I love it, I am just eating it. I know in America it was difficult to find it, but here it is readily available.
I do like liquorice. But Iāve never heard of salty liquorice. I will have to find some.
I also like liquorice, especially black liquorice. Iāll try to hunt down some of this stuff too.

Iāll be ordering some for delivery on Monday. I love food sites like this.
I found a lot on Amazon. Iāll order some next week.
On the topic of interesting foods, Iāve always wanted to try Vegemite. I hear you need to put a very thin layer over buttered toast. Anything more and it is horrible.
I might pick up some of that too next week. Iām feeling adventurous.
I got into the habit of trying one new thing every month. I didnāt do well with vegemite. I think I did it wrong.
The ultimate for me would be that Icelandic fermented shark. That sounds absolutely scary. I wonder if itās even exported?
From Wikipedia:
Rotten shark is chosen instead of fresh shark meat because the meat of the Greenland shark is poisonous when fresh, because of a high content of urea and trimethylamine oxide, but may be consumed after being processed (see below). Allowing the shark to fully decay and cure removes retained uric acid from the flesh, making it edible.
Sounds tasty?
In old times it was possible to buy in stores this very strong salmiak powder in small bags and I liked it a lot, but nowadays can not find it any longer. In old days many things were different such as when I was able to purchase chloroform at pharmacies for collecting butterflies and moths when I was just 15 years old. Now chloroform is on the list of regulated chemicals of the EU and you need a permit to buy it. Things have changed.
You may find this funny, but when I was 15 I used to capture moths using baits. I had taken some beer of my father and mixed it with sugar and some sweets and then I put these baits into this liquid and then placed these baits in the forest to attract moths at nights after which I walked from one bait to next with my chloroform bottle and killed these moths for my great collection that I still have although 32 years has passed. I was able to buy chloroform, but could not buy any beer, which is why I had to use my fatherās beer.
Apologies for reply after such a long time but was researching salmaik and came upon these posts. You can buy Salmaik powder from Sweden on ebay for about $20USā¦not sure what it is exactly ā¦Ammonium chloride? can you just eat that straight?
Yes, itās available in specialty shops here in Canada. I like it, but odd thing, itās always given me difficulty breathing after I eat itā¦must be allergies.
