I think the ammonium is addictive. I get massive cravings for salty licorice.

I love licorice!!! I really want to try salty licorice. I’m curious. I don’t usually like salty foods, but I’ve never met a licorice I didn’t like.

They say it’s an acquired taste, but I remember loving it since I first tasted it when I was little. I think some people are just wired to like it from the start.

Apparently it’s Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. I have heard the term many times before but never actually thought about what it means.

I wonder if there is a specific gene responsible for enjoying licorice. And it’s expressed in roughly 60% of people.
