Just noticed my prescription says take 3-5 tablets. So since they’re 5mg tabs the highest dose would be 25mg. Anybody ever take that much… Like on a regular basis and not a overdose incident?
When I was first put on Zyprexa/olanzapine I was taking 30 mg/day (15 mg twice a day). I could barely drag myself out of bed on that dosage.
Been on 25mg the pass 2 years and not dead yet.
In past psych ward stays ive taken 10mg 2-3 times a day. Most ive taken at once was about 60-80mg, was curious what it would do… doesnt do anything but make you a little more prone to fatigue the next day. Even that dose didnt make me have to sleep either.
So 25 mg is fine, and if thats what the doc said and the pharmacy saw it too, you got nothing to worry about.
