i like what i read too… i’m not a writer but i enjoyed it. I could even read it while i can’t read most long texts but this was manageable for me.

Otherwise there are some good, and some bad, books about “how to write a novel.” I have had some help reading them (i have had book published by a commercial publisher when i was young). Good luck and keep on writing.

my book is called “OUT OF IT - an autobiography on the experience of schizophrenia” by anonymous on amazon. if you want to write a book…first write a step sheet to show what sequence from beginning to end that your book needs…then just go back and “fill out” the steps to become a book !! try writing 20 mins. a day no matter what…and in a year you will have a book…

Hmm might try, although I have all the chapters in my head already. I wrote cryptic mnemonic sentences of all the parts. Just afraid it’s going to go from coherent to mumbo jumbo as I get into the more psychotic parts. I’ll do the 20 minutes thing

This happens to almost every book at some point in the writing process. No shame in writing some nonsense. The more you write, the better you will get. This means you will inevitably write a whole bunch of nonsense at some point. I just write for fun, but when I hit a blocking force myself to write a whole paragraph of absolutely anything on a certain topic. It is usually nonsense, but also usually sparkssome coherent idea for me.

You write your book how you see fit. I never made an outline or anything. I’m what we call a ‘pantster’, I let it flow. Just do as you feel and it’ll come.
And as Stepheb King says…Sometimes you feel like all you’re doing is shoveling shiit from a sitting position when you’re really doing good work.
