When I first got an apartment my local Mind were a big help. They provided support with housing benefit and setting up utility accounts and other things.

A member of Mind went with me to the local council, who then offered me a flat and I accepted it.

If you’re getting income-related ESA Butterflyy then you should automatically be entitled to the full amount of housing benefit.

Have you saved up for a deposit first? They wont help you with that.

Yea u need to be living there first before you can actually apply right.
Did u apply for housing benefit how long was the process

To be honest I am not that sure, this was about 12 years ago now. I don’t remember having any trouble with it though.
