Nuked my Chromebook

Several months ago. I hit restart after it downloaded a system update when my Wi-Fi was down. It’s been locked up with a white screen for maybe four months. I guess the battery finally discharged completely, because it’s running again after I plugged the charger in this morning.

Word of warning: Don’t restart your Chromebook after it’s downloaded a system update unless you know your Wi-Fi is working.

I never used a Chromebook but maybe there is tutorials on Youtube on how to repair and format it.

There should be a way to hard reset it to factory settings

Thanks @Naek. It’s functioning again since I let the battery discharge completely then plugged it in to the house AC.
