Any good 90's rock bands

In the category of hole, nirvana, you know that style. Mellow type artists. I’m studying music so I’m looking for a fresh distinctive sound. I like how Courtney love put that emotion into her music. It’s kinda hard to explain but I get chills if I hear a good song

The Posies were an interesting Band. One of my faves from the early 90’s…

Man The Pillows have gotten me though some bad ■■■■ before. Especially “Beautiful Morning With You.”

Sounds about right. The guy from smashing pumpkins is from Illinois I believe. I was listening to them yesterday.

Candlebox, soundgarden, stone temple pilots

In 94/95 during visit to psych ward, only way I could fall asleep was listening to candlebox self titled cd,

Also in jan/feb this year, candlebox was what helped me go to sleep when I could

I loved this song by Corrosion Of Conformity - Clean My Wounds

I see the world through bloodshot eyes
Streets filled with blood from distant lies.
The dogs of war never compromise,
No real time for rearranging.

"Help me Jesus, help me clean my wounds"
He said he cannot heal that kind.
Bleeding soul becomes a bitter mind.
He said it happens every time (Knock it down)
And that’s how the story goes (Knock it down)
In the land of a thousand no’s (Knock it down)
I’m all over you in time my mind is changing.
Knock it down

Black on black gives me a heart attack
And the silence makes it deadly.
Some choose to kill with simple will.
I’ve seen them fall fast and steady.

Twist of fate won’t give me a break
And myself, I’m slow and tired.
I’ve got to rise with these bloodshot eyes
But I keep falling when I’m higher.

We are bleeding sins and our sins are always fadin’
Oh fadin’, oh fadin’, oh fadin’

Oh, knock it down, knock it down
Oh, knock it down, knock it down
Oh, knock it down, knock it down
Oh, knock it down

The pillows were all i listened to in middle school. I still listen to them and im 21 now. Fooly Cooly was fantastic. If u haven’t seen fooly cooly (FLCL) @haete or anyone for that matter i suggest u go see it. Only 6 episodes to the series so its not even a big commitment.

I was watching flcl back in the day. I was actually in grade school maybe ehhh…idk what grade I was in. I just know it’s when it came out on adult swim. I just turned 22 a couple weeks ago. You probably didn’t know that was one of my favorite shows and the fact that we have4 things in common. I’m guessing you are black @Kazuma
