Most of my friends have homes with gardens and they do not do any gardening! HAH =(
I have a close friend who bought a nice house with her family in September and I am encouraging her to plant some vegetables. I love it!
Organic food and you get to choose the seeds first and also great therapy.
Yesterday I bought 6 pots of mini roses, after seeing a pic by @Sarad
so dark fuchsia, white, and bright pink. I will plant them later today on my balcony and then hope for the best!
I’m mixed when it comes to gardening. I love to grow things in my yard, but because of the 5 year drought in California, it takes too much water.
Even with all the flooding this year, the city hasn’t taken us off drought rations price.
Last I looked, we pay about $190. for two months, we don’t water our lawn at alll.
Greedy city funding their own pension plan.
Argh.
I love gardening! I first got into it for therapy and now I work full time as a gardener. I was even studying a diploma of horticulture but had to stop because I had a psychotic break.
I don’t know your circumstances but if you’re not working I would go and ask your friends if you can work on their gardens. It’s very rewarding.
