Any AP's which don't cause sexual dysfunction?

I write stupid ■■■■ on facebook, push some friends away, and do wreckless behaviour like speeding.
Funny story about speeding actually, When I was manic once, I had it in my mind that I was a cop, or at least had the same cop mentality therefore I could fool people into believing I was a cop. I drove 200 km on the highway once and saw a cop on the other side. Instead of slowing down, I nodded at him and he waved back! He must of thought I was undercover. That feeling was so powerful.

I wouldn’t want to enter another mania, however fun it is.

Lithium is a miracle drug! Been taking it for years now with no problems.

Since it’s a salt, you get thirstier and pee more, that’s about it.

I thought our body gets used with APs and then we have no sexual dysfunction. But maybe it’s different for each person.

Is that what happened in your case?

I think so. When I was on olanzapine (Zyprexa), I had sexual dysfunction and almost no libido. I think that around 8-9 months later, I recovered my libido. Now I’m on aripiprazole (Aristab) and I experience no sexual dysfunction and no weak libido.

good luck getting off atypicals, I’m trying to do the same thing. They say if you have bipolar and your mood is stable you can come off the antipsychotics.
it would be a dream come true for me. These meds are like punishment

risperidone/invega caused sexual dysfunction for me, not sure if the others are any better

I was on Abilify (10 mg) for only a day and didn’t cause any sexual dysfunction. I’m on Seroquel (currently 400 mg) for years and has never caused any sexual dysfunction. My libido or whatever is always the same. Meds never changed that for me, ever. I’m pretty stoic and don’t need sex anyway. At times, I may get a little addicted to masturbating. But last time I masturbated was a week or two ago. I could go months without masturbating. I don’t care.
