Yeah meds often fix one problem and cause another problem. It’s crazy.

I did the same came off olanzapine because of the weight gain went on latuda couldnt sleep so switched back to olanzapine.

latuda didnt cause me insomnia metformin did that its a rare side effect it lasted one week now since i discontinued metformin and still cant get enough sleep i am afraid it could be irreversible side effect

i agree with you any medication has its side effect which in some cases could be Lethal

To be frankly hornest to you Grodon is Latudas onkel and I’m never going to pick a fruit.from that family tree again because Geodon caused me to get insomnia for 20 years.

Thats one of the upsides to olanzapine the dreamy good nights sleep you get on it. But the downside is the weight gain from being so unmotivated and docile. I know sleep deprivation is horrible so I hope you find a med that works @MIDO .

Im emotion less on clopixol

I don’t know if anyone else has this numb flatness on clopixol?

I have a really hard time believing this.
Latuda is known to cause insomnia, metformin doesn’t usually cause this.
I’m on Metformin.

My dad told me about sleep hygiene doing things like stopping caffeine and cutting screen time both hours before bed and reading to relax.

that’s the truth i am on latuda for about 9 months now never had any insomnia and i was having a good deep sleep. i made search on the internet and found that in some people metformin could cause insomnia as a rare side effect but they couldn’t tell the exact mechanism there is theories about a defect of the endocannabinoid system which is metformin target

lurasidone (latuda) is an excellent antipsychotic i was having a good deep sleep on it my problem developed when i used metformin

There are reports concerning metformin and sleep disorders.

Metformin and sleep disorders - PMC.

yeah i have read this

that’s a good advice but it wont help if you have a sleep disorder. you need to know the problem which caused the insomnia and solve it either by stopping doing what caused it or taking medication to treat it

thank you i hope so as well. its the first time in my whole life to have insomnia its terrible and i regret taking metformin i didnt know it have this side effect
