I’m trying to get into manga… western animation is meh… for me…
I started watching castelvania and sword Gai on Netflix…. Sword gai is bizarre and funny fun to watch with my eyes, and castelvania is deep and mysterious
Theres been a few I’ve liked. Including cowboy bebop, hellsing, dragonball z, deathnote, castlevania and the animatrix. Cant think of others. Not the biggest fan. I do like some japanese role playing games that are highly anime-like. Like lost odyssey, final fantasy, enchanted arms.
My favorite anime are, Black Lagoon, The Glass Fleet, Elfin Lied, and I like building Kotobukiya models so I watched Frame Arms Girls and thought it was cute. Samurai Champloo, the list is long but these are always ones I recommend. Black lagoon is rather dark it’s about a group of smugglers in the china sea. Elfin Lied is dark and emotionally heavy and I won’t give away any of the story. The Glass Fleet is a more traditional anime story about the last of a family line returning and fixing things. As stated before
Frame arms Girl is cute slice of life type and is really about selling Kotobukiya model kits. Samurai Champloo is a fun mix of 17th century Japan and 90s hip hop graffiti culture.
