I was thinking about the iPhone SE but its still 689$CA with taxes here. Its still expensive for me. My current phone is a Xiaomi for 130$US.

@Aziz. What is your take on the foldable phones? I think it is more of a gimmick. It is not ready for prime time. :lion::lion::lion:

Yea they’re not good now, small battery, low specs slower than regular phones and super expensive.

Apple products are fashion statements. Do you want a good suitcase or do you want to pay way too much for an ugly one with the letters LV all over it because you’ve seen popular people use that same suitcase?

My last iPhone was iPhone 4, got the 32Gb for the price of the 16Gb because 16Gb wasn’t in stock. 32Gb was a lot back then.

In some benchmarks Apple is significantly faster than Android but idk how they translate to real world use. One of my friends says iPhone has more fluid animations but I don’t think the big price jump is worth it for me. Also the camera of iPhone is slightly better than the Google Pixel.

There will always be a few exceptions. But all Apple products are overpriced for the hardware they contain. That’s why Apple needs to have its own OS and a sleek design.

One thing I will say about apple is,it’s a more friendly system for people with certain disabilities, and for people who aren’t tech savvy.

Android all the way - integrates perfectly with all the other Google Apps I use such as Gmail and Docs

I don’t know my way around iOS

My motivation is not based on fashion

My MacAir links to my phone and apple watch, and everything is in the iCloud

For my business this really helps me manage things effectively.

I can view my business files like spreadsheets and quotes on my iPhone, and it all links to an apple car play 7 inch screen on my van console where I can use siri to reply to WhatsApp messages when I am driving, and use the sat nav, apple music and have my calendar hooked into it

The eco system they have built is impressive, and I find that the devices last a very long time.

I want everything connected, and Apple does that very well, and it’s super user friendly and makes my digital life much easier to operate.

Comes at a cost I know, but I love tech, and apple products I rate highly.

I moved over to apple in 2011 when I got a bursary from my university, and used my 15% student discount and that money to buy my first mac

I would agree with y’all but iPhones are over hyped. I saw a thousand dollar iphone you’re kidding me lol. That’s rent and bills right there.

iPhones are the fastest but their quality/price ratio is bad. You pay like 50%-100% more for 20% more speed.
