I am on Prozac, you think it’s better if I avoid alcohol then also?
Yeah, I would. Antidepressants and alcohol are notorious.
It was only Prozac for me. I took like 2 sips and thought everyone was in the CIA. I’m on Wellbutrin and cymbalta and seem fine.
Anti-D’s are neuro-stimulants. Alcohol is initially a neuro-stimulant, then a neuro- depressant. But it is always a dis-inhibitor. Which means anyone is more likely to become impulsive and/or aggressive on the combination of the two… but a sz pt is likely to become more psychotically impulsive and/or aggressive.
