I began taking Seroquel about two years ago, back in 2013. Whilst Seroquel was, and still is, a very good antipsychotic for me, I’m considering finding another one that’s just as good. When I was taking it, my menstrual cycles began to become irregular. Usually, they were fairly negligible things, so while I knew that some of my cycles would come early or a little late, I never thought of it to be a big deal. But as the months passed, I noticed that the irregularity of my menstrual cycles began to become more emphasized. Instead of being a few days or weeks late, the waiting time for my periods to come along progressed into months.
The last time that I’ve had my period was back in November of 2014. Since then, nothing has happened (apart from spotting in September). I went to the gynecologist in July and was given an optional prescription for Provera. But since I was hesitant about taking it because I wasn’t sure about how it would react with my meds, I never got it picked it up.
One day in September, I started spotting, but nothing ever happened after that. With me not having a period in pretty much a year, I’m considering getting the Provera picked up just so I can have my period return. Have any other girls experienced something like this while taking Seroquel?
