Moderation is a standard part of all forums whether they be mental health based or not. It’s needed to protect posters as much as possible and to allow for the smooth running of a forum… Without it this place would soon turn into disharmony and chaos. Not because of the majority but because of a minority who come onto forums to abuse and troll. Give such types free rein and they’ll grasp it with both hands.
As forums go this one is well moderated and the rules fairly administered. As @anon82948922 rightly says; if you don’t like it then form your own forum and see what happens when it’s not moderated.
Patrick - I love your general positiveness and sense of humor and have generally really appreciated your posts (that I’ve read - since I read a small subset of messages here) since you’ve been here - but lately you’ve seem to really step up the criticism.
We’re all just trying to create a positive, helpful and supportive place for people. Some moderation has to happen and everyone is going to have a different idea of exactly where to draw the line. Admit that its a hard thing to do and please be thankful to the people who are trying to do this in their spare time.
Please back of on the criticism of the Mods. Private feedback to me if you think the Mods are overstepping is fine. But ongoing public postings and criticism just increases stress for everyone.
We don’t want this place to be like Alt.Support.Schizophrenia - and I it never will be.

Not exactly the behaviour(Patrick’s) we expect of someone who’s supposedly high functioning , and should be leading by example.
I don’t want to pick in too much, but I think we’ve come to an understanding. Maybe we should just close this topic for now…

I agree - everyone’s points have been made I think.
