I once thought that the government was sending people to kill me with a poison handshake.
I would shake hands with someone and immediately excuse myself and go wash my hands. I was so frightened that my ears would ring and my heart would construct as I thought I felt the poison absorb into my hand.
I’m only responding to this so you will see it and hopefully realize that it is safe to eat your food and that no one is trying to hurt you.
I’ve felt like that. It’s horrible.
I’ve never shared my experiences before with anyone. It’s been helpful to talk it out and hear others’ stories.
When I was psychotic I thought “they” were sneaking into my apartment and poisoning my food so for a while all I ate was microwave food covered in plastic. I also thought my water supply was poisoned as proven by its nasty, bitter taste.
