its interesting. since i did all my rtms treatments. I only get negative effects from alcohol. i just get dizzy, no feel good feelings, no relaxed feelings, just dizzyness.
I basically never drink but every 4-5 months id try a having 3 or 4 beers like old times and it was never good anymore.
So indirectly i think rtms affected my brain in a way that i dont react well to alcohol anymore. so it was my antidote to wanting to drink as a coping mechanism.
now i just drink gatorade , ice cold blue gatorade
My geodon did the same thing to me. I gave up drinking because I was like “what is the point in ingesting bad tasting poison that makes me sick if I don’t feel silly for an hour first?” And then I wondered why I ever bothered drinking anyways.
Since on clozapine I can’t even drink a few sips of a cocktail before becoming very nauseated. I wasn’t much of a drinker previous to that except as a young person. So it really hasn’t affected my life.
i still get effects from alcohol on every ap ive been on, not much negative effects due to combining with meds tho. i rarely drink just because its not the best thing
