my doc didn’t tell me either I read about it on the print out from the pharmacy, not to drink alcohol with this med. though it didn’t give limits or type of possible damage that could occur, that probably could be searched for each medicine online.

That’s great. I remember when I used to drink a lot, waking up with hangovers all the time. It was awful. Then when you stop and you’re waking up well-rested in the morning it’s like a revelation.

Antipsychotic medication took away a lot of the euphoria I used to get from alcohol. That didn’t stop me from drinking a lot, though. It has been over fifteen months since I last drank.

my pdoc told me it’s okay to have “a couple beers” no more than that

That’s good to know. Two is usually my limit these days. It’s often just one though, because drinking doesn’t feel as nice anymore with the APs.
